Since Oman revised its tariffs, we recommend installing a solar grid-connected system without battery storage – the simplest, most cost-effective way to use solar power. This system connects PV modules directly to the utility grid, offsetting daytime loads. Chances are, you’ll generate surplus power to sell back per utility regulations, increasing savings.
Basic Customer Details :
Step 1:Determine average and daily monthly electricity usage
You probably consume more electricity during certain months of the year. Refer to your utility bills for the past 12 months and calculate your average usage (kWh) over that period. You can also estimate your average dailykWh usage by dividing your monthly usage by 30 (the average number of days in a month).
On average, how many KiloWatt-Hours (kWh) do you use per month?
If this is a new construction site without available electricity bill records, please refer to the Single Line Diagram and share the total connected load / max demand load –
Note :As per APSR guideline here in Oman, we can design Solar System capacity max 50% of connected load hence please share site location, Single Line Diagram – SLD (to know Total Connected Load, Max Demand Load & Point of Connection), Original electricity bill (to understand pattern of electricity consumption).
Step 2: Select Type of Solar Panels Mounting Profile
One standard solar panel generates around 1.24 kilowatt-hours per square meter per day in an unshaded area, and various solar panel mounting systems offer design flexibility, aesthetic options, and increased solar power production.
Every solar energy system must include either a roof racking or ground mounting system, plus its attachments. The cost of these parts will vary based on roof material or the racking and mounting profile option you choose :
Note :Please provide elevation and section drawings depicting the mounting profile installation so we can review and ensure it will optimize energy generation.
Step 3: Select Site Location / Region
With 320 sunny days per year and peak sunlight intensity reaching nearly 6000 watt-hours per square meter, Oman enjoys abundant solar resources that provide a competitive advantage for developing world-leading solar projects. Please choose your site location.
We have provided an indicative proposal and estimated installed capacity for budget estimation purposes only. We will require relevant site details and documents to design and propose the optimal solar solution for you.
