was set up in February 1991, with the commitment
to explore the different applications of solar
photovoltaic energy in the Sultanate of Oman.
OSS is the only manufacturer of Solar Photovoltaic
Systems in the Sultanate of Oman.
OSS
is an expert in the solar electricity business
and provides solutions for a variety of needs
and applications, using solar electricity as
a stand alone or as an additional source. The
solutions range from smaller standardized to
larger custom-designed systems. OSS has a proven
track record of providing better solar energy
systems to industrial customers. These systems
combine the advantages of advanced design expertise
and local manufacturing facility with hands
on understanding of the terrain and climatic
variations that are unique to GCC countries.
OSS is perhaps the first and only successful
effort of its kind in the Gulf.
