Oman Solar System Co. LLC (OSS), based in the Sultanate of Oman, offers turnkey services from concept to commissioning and servicing, with total capacity for the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of Solar Photovoltaic systems. OSS is an ISO 9001:2000 certified Company and was established in the year 1991. It has installed many successful Solar Power Systems at remote inaccessible sites also. OSS has become a pioneer in the field of Solar Photovoltaic Systems in Oman.

OSS belongs to Al-Bahja Group of Companies which is one of the leading and major industrial groups in Oman having established mainly in manufacturing and allied activities. In a relatively short span of time, the group has established its brand image in perfumery, industrial & hygiene chemicals, agricultural farming, real estate, construction and renewable energy products.

OSS is registered with Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) for the supply and installation of Solar Power systems for various applications. In Oman, the Company has executed a number of projects including Solar Power systems for Cathodic protection of pipelines, SCADA systems, RTUs, MSV Skids and Telecommunication stations. It has also executed several projects for Oman Telecommunications Co.,Oman Mobile, Occidental of Oman, Ministry of Information, Ministry of Regional Municipalities, Ministry of Water Resources, etc.

OSS has established a branch office in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In Abu Dhabi, OSS successfully completed a major contract worth US$ 9 million in 2001 for the design, manufacture, installation, testing and commissioning of Solar Photovoltaic power systems and Passive Cooled shelters for Emirates Telecommunications Corporation (ETISALAT) for powering 31 remotely located GSM base stations. OSS has a number of other projects running with ETISALAT.
